We are pleased to announce that Book4Time was awarded the Markham Board of Trade’s Business Excellence Award for the Global Business category.
Earlier this year, Book4Time was nominated for the award, and last night at the MBT’s 28th Annual Business Excellence Awards Gala was announced as the winner among three finalists. The three finalists were shortlisted from several nominated companies in this category.
The gala took place at the Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre and Spa, who was also awarded that night. The theme was ‘Hollywood’ and the night was filled with music, smiling faces, lots of energy, and was a great opportunity for networking with local companies. As you walked down the red carpet, you had the chance to get your picture taken while being interviewed, then meet some of the characters from the big screen – you were definitely able to feel the Hollywood vibe. It was extraordinary to see how Markham has genuinely become the Silicon Valley of Canada, with so many technology companies already established in the area and several more moving soon to Markham.

Going global has been a big challenge, but having the right people at the right place, with their unique individual talents, all working together, they can become unstoppable,” said Roger Sholanki, CEO and founder of Book4Time, ” We moved to Markham about five years ago and found the location great for attracting talent, and the tech community has been really vibrant.”
Every year, the Markham Board of Trade Business Excellence Awards celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit, success, and business ingenuity. The Global Business Excellence celebrates companies that have achieved business success in markets outside of Canada.
