Fiscalization & Fiscal Printing

Book4Time operates globally and as a Point of Sale (POS) system. It is essential to offer our clients the ability to maintain these rules and regulations set by their governments within their business operations. We offer our clients this ability by capturing the sales data from each transaction, designated Tax ID fields and direct send capabilities.

Fiscalization

What is it? Fiscalization is used to record all transactions of a cash register without any gaps, to protect the data against manipulation and to archive them. Many countries are now requiring the practice of capturing all transactions over a certain dollar amount to be registered in this way with their government and making this a standard across all businesses rendering payment for services.

Fiscal Printing

How is it done? A fiscal printer is a specific printer that is certified for retail sales by the local tax authorities. All items that are sold must be registered through the printer. The set-up process is fairly simple and is connected to your computer through a serial port. Sometimes, a fiscal printer is a receipt printer that includes a fiscal memory module. The module records every transaction for easy regulation of sales tax owed to a country. Fiscal printers include both cloud-based solutions as well as carbon copy printing.
Although each transaction is digitally recorded for record keeping purposes, you may also download physical copies of invoices for your records as well. If you would like to confirm or go over your fiscalization requirements, please email sales@book4time.com
